In March, Overmarine marked a milestone with the launch of The Great Escape, the fourth yacht in its 44.47-metre Mangusta Oceano 44 series, scheduled to be delivered in 2025.

Three top design studios came together to shape this yacht. The exterior has a smooth, modern look created by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design. Inside, the elegant living spaces were crafted by H2 Yacht Design. As for the technical side, PierLuigi Ausonio’s team handled the naval architecture, ensuring strong performance and balance.

Built for long-distance cruising, The Great Escape boasts an impressive range of 4,500 nautical miles. She cruises comfortably at 11 knots and can reach a top speed of 15.5 knots. For added comfort, she’s fitted with zero-speed electric stabilisers that operate also while underway.

Blending strong materials with modern aesthetics, her hull is made of steel and the superstructure is built in aluminium.

One of her standout design elements is the use of large, panoramic glass windows that offer breathtaking views and create a seamless connection between inside and outside spaces.

Luxury meets simplicity throughout the yacht’s interior. A clean, minimalist design is elevated with the use of premium wood and refined marble accents. The master suite stands out with its private ocean view, while the guest cabins are unified by a matching color palette that ties the whole space together.

Outdoor living is a big part of this yacht’s appeal. The 104-square-metre sundeck provides ample space for relaxing under the sun. At the stern, the beach club transforms into a 180-degree lounge area when the side terraces fold out and the transom opens up, offering a unique platform close to the water.
