Feadship has taken a bold step forward with its newest launch — a 101-metre superyacht now officially named Moonrise. Currently undergoing final work in Makkum, the yacht blends familiar design cues with new features that push innovation and refinement.

Although she shares a name and similar styling with the earlier 99.9-metre Moonrise, this version introduces major upgrades in both design and technology. The design team — Studio De Voogt on the exterior and Rémi Tessier on the interior — returned for the second build, but this time the yacht was given more space, smarter systems and a sharper, cleaner look.One of the most noticeable differences is what’s missing: domes. Traditional satellite domes have been replaced with integrated Starlink receivers — a first for Feadship — improving both performance and appearance. The silhouette is further elevated by a taller mast, longer decks and an extended swim platform.

While Feadship hasn’t revealed the full interior layout, observations during the build point to expansive outdoor areas, the potential for a pool at the aft and shell doors on the lower deck that likely conceal tender garages at both the bow and midship. Wellness and comfort also appear to be central to the design, with a sundeck that features a massage area, hair salon, and gym. Additional highlights include a private cinema and a dedicated owner’s deck, offering quiet spaces for relaxation and entertainment. Careful attention was given to onboard comfort, including custom propellers and a specially mounted anchor system designed to reduce vibration and noise.
