The Monaco Yacht Show concluded on September 25th after a remarkably successful four-day event, highlighting the industry’s robust health and innovation. This year’s show was further elevated by the unexpected arrival of Lürssen’s 123.2-meter Golden Odyssey, the largest yacht ever to grace the event.
Despite a brief spell of inclement weather, enthusiasm remained high as shipyards reported a surge in serious inquiries. The notable increase in new build activity has been instrumental in several yards’ recovery from the post-pandemic challenges faced by the yachting industry. This trend was also evident at the Cannes Yachting Festival, with positive financial updates from both Princess and Sunseeker.
Heesen Yachts, for example, announced projected record revenues of €230 million for this year, driven by a full production schedule and deliveries extending into 2027. The Monaco Yacht Show also welcomed new market entrants, such as GX Superyachts, a new brand of superyachts from hybrid boatbuilder Greenline Yachts.
The Monaco Yacht Show will return in 2025 from September 24th to 27th.
