On Saturday, June 8, the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona marked a significant milestone with the launch of Asante, the first vessel in the Custom Line 50 series constructed entirely from aluminum. Asante is set to make her international debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2024.

Scheduled for delivery to her owner later this year, this four-deck superyacht showcases the exterior design prowess of Filippo Salvetti, the interior expertise of ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, and in-house naval architecture by Custom Line.This yacht represents the collaborative effort between the Product Strategy Department, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Superyachts Division Engineering team.

Departing from Custom Line’s traditional GRP construction, this flagship yacht features an all-aluminum hull and superstructure. Her designers have taken a bold approach to interior layout, positioning the opulent master suite at the bow of the upper deck, rather than the main deck.

A semi-deck, located between the main and upper decks, is there to support the raised owner’s deck, prompting the design team to rethink the classic white lines that define Custom Line yachts’ exteriors. This innovative design provides the owner with sweeping panoramic views from the master suite and a secluded terrace, enhancing privacy.

Boasting a displacement hull under 499 GT and a 9.6-meter beam, Asante can accommodate up to 12 guests across five luxurious staterooms, with separate living quarters for up to nine crew members.

The beach club’s strategic positioning offers direct access to the aft outdoor area on the main deck, which includes a private lounge and a seamlessly integrated rectangular stern pool.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and reflective surfaces on the main and upper decks create an immersive connection between the yacht’s interiors and the surrounding seascape.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Asante reaches a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 16 knots, with a 4,000 nautical miles range. The second Custom Line 50 yacht is currently under construction, with delivery anticipated in 2026.
