Feadship, renowned for its luxury yacht craftsmanship, has introduced a groundbreaking 75-meter concept yacht, codenamed C. This innovative vessel is set to make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. Designed by Studio de Voogt to commemorate Feadship’s 75th anniversary, C is a testament to the shipyard’s commitment to cutting-edge technology and sustainable design.
Inspired by the facets of a diamond, C’s exterior incorporates extensive glazing to maximize natural light penetration. The yacht’s hull shape and fully electric propulsion system represent a significant advancement from previous concepts. Feadship anticipates that C will be approximately 30% more energy-efficient than a traditional 75-meter yacht, thanks to its dual-shaft propulsion system and advanced hydrodynamics.
Building upon the success of Project 821, C will be powered entirely by fuel cells running on methanol. This sustainable approach, combined with lithium-metal batteries, ensures zero emissions and exceptional efficiency.
Additional features of C include a partially enclosed sea lounge, a beach club with sea-level dining, a duplex owner’s suite, and an articulating crow’s nest. The yacht’s design incorporates hexagonal pools that complement the overall aesthetic.
Drawing inspiration from earlier concepts like Pure and the recently delivered Ulysses, C boasts a state-of-the-art digital command center equipped with intelligent situational awareness technology. This advanced system enhances safety and navigation.
With an expected top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, C is poised to redefine the luxury yacht experience. To further optimize energy efficiency, the yacht will feature wave-actuated fins that generate additional power for hotel loads.
